Orphan works exception and a no-deal Brexit: statement on impact and alternatives

A statement on the removal of the EU orphan works exception in the case of a no-deal Brexit, with an overview of alternatives if the exception is lost.

Further to our briefing on this matter in February 2019, this statement provides a overview of the exception and the possible alternatives that libraries, archives, and other organisations may wish to consider in the scenario that the exception is lost.
